DJ Jazzy Jeff marks what would have been The King of Pop's 55th Birthday with a skillfully arranged mix titled He's The King, I'm The DJ. Featuring a whopping 49 tracks and an hour and 20 minutes of MJ, this tape is golden. For those in London, this could be seen as a preview to the DJ's set at Spin Doctor's Doctors Orders event on October 6th. That is absolutely not a show you want to miss. Gummy Soul has done it once again. Wally Clark pays tribute to Sould of Mischief's classic 93 'Till Infinity by giving them a unique spin on the remix. He revisited the best hip hop of 1993 and compiled all of the classic samples used in songs of the day. Wally then created "new compositions using the same techniques they were using – such as filtered bass lines, classic drum breaks, echo-y horns – to make an album that sounds like it could have been released in 1993."
