The spitters are back out front this Mixtape Monday with evergreen projects from Mick Jenkins, ANoyd, Sup Nasa, Geronimus Brothers and more.

Jenkins drops the latest in the or more series. ANoyd blames it all on Jay Z. Sup Nasa has a bone to pick with J Dilla and the Geronimus Brothers put in work for Jakarta Records. Other gems this week include Chuuwee & Khalisol’s collaborative project PassOver, Beats For Days from Stockholm’s Gonza and Rod N Todd Go To Heaven by Unlucky Bastards and Graymatter.

Rounding this week’s lineup out, we’ve got The Snowball Effect from Kid Breeze and DJ First Class. J.Rocc is mashing J Dilla and Michael Jackson on Share My Bed. Foisey is back in the saddle with the slow jam instrumentals on EA8+ and DJ Lady Oracle closes things out with some Afro-Latin house.

Mick Jenkins - or more; the frustration

Mick Jenkins keeps fans primed for his forthcoming full-length project with the latest in the or more preview series entitled or more; the frustration.

#ormore is a project series involving musical ideas and concepts that are currently inspiring the album's creation process. Carving out the better version of the good thing you have before you is an understated part of that process, chocked full of its own setbacks and speed bumps. I highlights these frustrations as an exhibit, or exploration, of some of the smaller waves in my pool of thoughts.

ANoyd - Blame It On Jay Z

Connecticut spitter ANoyd spazzes for the duration of Blame It On Jay Z. The 10-track tape is a refreshing return to beats and rhymes that finds ANoyd openly questioning the pills and trap wave.  He ultimately opts out to deliver something more substantial. The project boasts appearances from Kim Viera, Oswin Benjamn x Mickey Factz, Corey Cooper and Lorii Woods.

Geronimus Brothers - Just Another Weekday

Michigan production duo and actual siblings, the Geronimus Brothers, serve up the thirteenth installment in the Dubplate series from Jakarta Records with Just Another Weekday. The raw, jazz-inflected production is right on time. The project is rounded out by their rhymes – a mix of clever entendre and melodic delivery.

Sup Nasa - J Dilla Ruined My Life

Sup Nasa drops a roundabout thank you to J Dilla entitled J Dilla Ruined My Life. The title doesn’t necessarily sound promising, but it gets so much better from there.

I don't feel music the same since I heard his beats. His deep-feelings based music, his chopping technique, his complex yet simple rhythm, made me switch my focus when I listen to music. It's like I cannot enjoy music no longer. It's like if I don't find anything that beautifully created, if I don't find that kind of aesthetic struggle, music has no meaning. And I have to thank him for this because it allowed me to upgrade my experience, my way of listening to music, that is my way of living. So yes, you ruined my life, but thank you.

Chuuwee & Khalisol - PassOver

Sacramento and New Mexico unite on the new project entitled PassOver from Chuuwee and Khalisol. The 13-track release is the third in Chuuwee’s Dystopia series.

It started out as just a joint project. We’ve actually been working on it for 3 years but then I started doing the Dystopia series. By the time I came back to review and listen to what we had so far and thought, this would’ve the perfect continuation from "Sabbath. The album is called "PassOver" because that’s the next holiday after Sabbath, however in the storyline of the series this is the breaking point. This is that moment when you feel as things can't get worse and you’re just praying for them to “Pass Over”. Unfortunately in this series things only get worse.

Gonza - Beats For Days Vol. 3

Stockholm native and Worldwide Beatmakers representative Gonza is in the driver’s seat for Beats For Days Vol. 3 from NINETOFIVE. The laidback 20-track instrumental tape features sunny production that captures the analog crackle of vinyl and throws back to the sound of Pete Rock's Petestrumentals.

Unlucky Bastards & Graymatter - Rod N Todd Go To Heaven

Unlucky Bastards and Graymatter team on The Simpsons themed project Rod N Todd Go To Heaven. The 23-track tape features appearances from Koncept Jack$on, Big Kahuna OG, Fly Anakin, BSTFRND and Jsmallz67.

Listen here Rod and Todd, yall bout to go on a journey thru that space and time shit, you bout to go to heaven!! Better be prepared for what lies ahead, cause you already know that man God got plans for yall...

Kid Breeze x DJ First Class - Snowball Effect Mixtape

Chicago’s own Kid Breeze is back at the wheel for the Snowball Effect Mixtape hosted by DJ First Class. The 11-track project executive produced by Tha Shipmates is a clinic in slappers that combines cinematic melodies with hard-hitting percussion and real-life rap. Features include Richie Wes, Law Tha Dragon, Joel Q and Jae Haze.

J.Rocc- Share My Bed

J.Rocc drops another one for J Dilla, this time mashing Dilla Dawg with Michael Jackson. Still incomplete, J.Rocc was generous enough to package and share the polished jams as Share My Bed.

A project I started years ago but never finished. Here are some of the tracks that are completed. J Dilla once said he was gong to make an album of him singing. The cover was a picture of him like Michael Jackson on "Thriller". The title of the LP was going to be "Share My Bed".

Foisey - EA8+

Foisey has another heater on his hands entitled EA8+. The 25-track instrumental tape is a hefty release fueled by slow jams and other grown folks’ music. Foisey samples all of the body roll jams to capture the highs and lows of love.
