No seriously, the blend is eminently listenable right from the echoey "whaaa" and acoustic guitar on the opening bars, a symphony of virtuoso rhythm and actual blues that hearkens to that other golden era of the 90s. Seriously between this combo and Aaron Hallpopping up in Nas videos, feels like some longtime rift in black music is finally closing, with super-soulful results.
