Mick Jenkins Has Very Reasonable Gripes With Baseball & Bluetooth Headsets

Just a few weeks back, Mick Jenkins released his debut full-length album The Healing Component; a meditation on love of all kinds and the power thereof. It's great one, no doubt, but judging by the Chicago rapper's recent Over/Under session with Pitchfork, it's also a little misleading. Read: Mick Jenkins is not the impossibly positive rapper you may think he is. Rather, Jenkins has some pretty reasonable gripes with everything from baseball to the Big Apple, seahorses to bluetooth headsets. Which is not to say that Jenkins is some voice of doom type dude, only that he'd opt for a night out singing Biggie classics at a karaoke bar in his hometown over dogs at Wrigley Field. Either way, his preferences should not dissuade one from picking up a copy of The Healing Component (available to purchase on iTunes today) as it easily falls into this year's "best so far" category.

Watch Mick Jenkins sound off on Over/Under below and catch him on the North American leg of his tour, the dates for which are listed below.
