Okayafrica Video: Michael Kiwanuka x The Roots Live on Jimmy Fallon

British songwriter Michael Kiwanuka — who we recently interviewed — bussed his soulful pipes last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for a performance of “Tell Me A Tale,” backed by The Legendary Roots Crew and a horn section borrowed from the Dap-Kings. Beautiful. Glad to see we’re producing some soulful artists again as a country, and as always it’s fantastic to see the Roots playing just about anything live. So much in this performance – it’s great to see.
