Menahan_Street_Band_The_Crossing

Brooklyn-based instrumental band, The Menahan Street Band give us the visual treatment for their track “Lights Out”, off of their recently released The Crossing. You might know (or not know that you know) this band for several reasons: either you’ve heard them sampled in Jay-Z‘s “Roc Boys”, Curren$y‘s “Flying Iron” or Kid Cudi‘s “Solo Dolo”. Or you might know them as their individual members, coming from the Dap-Kings, Antibalas, Budos Band, and The Expressions. Either way, you’ll definitely know this band now. The video for “Lights Out” features some vintage boxing clips that match up perfectly with the feel of this funky, horn-infused jam. Watch below and cop The Crossing right here.
