New Meek Mill and The Roots
Last night we saw the new Meek Mill and The Roots. Meek Mill came true the set of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night to let you know he is "Young And Gettin' It," delivering a high-energy live performance with a little assistance from The Roots, Kirko Bangz and Funkmaster Flex on the scritchy-scratches. I know I'm biased but it's at the point now where rocking the set at LNWJF is the rap equivalent of speaking at the Democratic convention. It's all about the optics. Your youtube views might be on googleplex and you can debut at #1 all you want. But once you stand on stage flanked by ?uestlove on one side and Funk Flex on the other, that's it.
