Mavis Staples Extends Her Victory Lap To 'The Late Show'
It's been a busy few weeks for soul legend,Mavis Staples. In the lead-up to last week's release of her 13th studio album, Livin' On A High Note, Staples shared three cuts from the album in just as many days, premiering the Aloe Blacc & Jon Batiste-penned anthem of empowerment, "Tomorrow," with us just last week. Today, she extends her victory lap to The Late Show, where she performed yet another album cut, "Take Us Back" for the late-night crowd, where she proved without question just how much glory was left in that powerhouse vocal.
