Eclectic Method Marijuana Movie Mix For 4/20

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

It's that time of year again--that annual late April day when it becomes absolutely necessary to roll, rip and relax the afternoon away. 4/20 is the perfect excuse to enjoy some good music and good movies in an *ahem* elevated state, and this year the divine mind of  Jonny Wilson AKA Eclectic Method has done the work for us. We're pleased to premiere his cinematic supercut of essential scenes that keep the green on the screen:

All the smoked-out classics are here, along with a few surprises: Half Baked, Ted, Pineapple Express, Death Proof, How High, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, Pulp Fiction, Friday, South Park, The Big Lebowski, The Breakfast Club, Annie Hall Knocked Up, and...Richard Nixon?!? The cuts play over a laid-back loop of Cypress Hill's 1993 smoke anthem "Hits From the Bong," and is cut with musical ganja-checks from the likes of NaS, The Notorious B.I.G. and the official-unofficial bishop of 4/20 Snoop Dogg himself.

If you're in a last-minute search for a movie to enjoy with your holiday greenery, Eclectic Method's mix should give you all the source material you need. Then again, the clip is so well-cut and rhythmic that it could do the trick all on its own, coming to us as the latest in a long line of highly-diggable music and video productions produced by Eclec-Meth. Get better acquainted with EM here.

You could use this as a stoner movie menu or set it to repeat and enjoy the booming drums and smooth "Son of a Preacher Man" sample--the choice is yours. Either way, sticky 4/20 greetings to you and yours.
