Majid Jordan Drop A Fiery Visual For "Something About You"

Gotta say, it's been a pleasure to see Majid Jordan rise like the stars we always knew they were. Whether on sleek standalone outings or paired with their OVO cohorts, Majid Al-Maskati and Jordan Ullman continue to prove they're next up with each and every house-inflected cut that makes way across the northern border.

Today they visualize the infectious new single "Something About You" with a clean, yet incendiary clip, finding Al-Maskrati giving chase down dark corridors and leaving a literal trail ablaze in his wake. The video's a passable one, but for a duo that's built such a sturdy resume of stunning and surreal visual treatments over the year (see "Her" or even "Forever") this plays out more like a living breathing Tumblr ad than anything else (old cars! beautifully dark women! high-style-low-substance stills!)

And this song deserves better. But that's just one writer's opinion.
