A few weeks back, I hit up Boundless NY for the listening session of Brownsville, Brooklyn’s own Maffew Ragazino. I’d heard a few songs, and co-sign after co-sign for this dude, but I wanted to hear the full album for myself. He doesn’t OD with the guest features (a common mistake of new artists on their debut, IMO), gets some strong production help (DJ Clark Kent, Beewirks, Frank Dukes etc.), and generally keeps you engaged lyrically for 16 tracks. But don’t take my word for it, you can download his street album, Rhyme Pays, after the jump (presented by Cash In Cash Out Records, Boundless NY & Peter Rosenberg).
