Watch Madonna, The Roots & Jimmy Fallon Perform Her 80s Classic "Holiday"

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Madonna took The Tonight Show back to 1983 (and the wardrobe department took a trip to Bermuda) Thursday night when she performed her classic hit "Holiday" with a little help from The Roots, host Jimmy Fallon and a bevy of classroom instruments. Using shakers, hand bells, melodica, bongos and sunglasses the band backed miss Madge for a light-hearted but no less groovy turn on the track, which has always been a vacation anthem for anyone who's just had a bit too much of the daily grind.

Madonna holds the band down with a righteous cowbell and whistle performance (we mean it) while The Roots pile on their tried-and-true kiddie instrument percussion wall of sound to build the groove. The Queen of Pop is currently riding high off the release of her latest LP Rebel Heart, and the video for new single "Ghosttown" was just released yesterday. Still, we'll always be suckers for her vintage material, and the vibe on this new "Holiday" is just too vibrant to deny. Honestly, did you expect to wake up and see Black Thought in a Hawaiian half-placket today? 2015 just keeps on giving. Watch Madonna and the gang perform the number below and be on the lookout for more hijinks coming out of 30 Rock.
