M&O FKA Milo & Otis have been biding their time with releasing new sunny soul selections from their Almost Us LP. Luckily for us all, the duo has graced us with a sobering new visual for their latest single "Blue," which finds the Chi-town/B-more tandem in the midst of a change of pace joint, accompanied by a clip that's dripping in melancholy and unrequited love. Chicago's hypnotic soulstress Milo puts the work on this stormy number with layer-upon-layer-of brilliant vocal shading, over a production that oozes with classic r&b chops from the seams.
The visual finds the duo playing out from a cluttered warehouse space while two displaced lovers wind in circles around one another in a romantic game of cat-and-mouse before finally catching each other's glances at a gallery and going what seems to be their own ways. "Blue" serves as a righteous introduction to the more minimal styles of the group's Almost Us LP and we're proud to premiere it's inaugural aesthetic treatment.
