Lorde Shares A Snippet Of 'Pure Heroine' Outtake "Lost Boys"

Last night, late owls and comedy buffs got a treat when Lorde served as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live.

Marking her first network television performance since announcing her second studio album, Melodrama, Lorde performed “Green Light” + “Liability,” which are the two lead singles from the record that fans of her sounds have already heard.

With a little bit of theatrics added in for good measure, the New Zealander’s performance was captivating and attention-grabbing. From the smokey looks to the camera to the minimalistic set design, Lorde’s lording of the Saturday Night Live audience was quietly regal and stirring.

Out of the two cuts, “Liability,” the serene serenade ballad that Lorde let loose last week, worked best to invoke the feelings that relate to the song. As you can see in the videos below, when it came to “Liability,” Lorde let her voice do all the talking and we were here all the way for it.

Press play on the videos below and keep an eye out for Melodrama to have a release date sometime in 2017.
