Little Simz - "Quest Luv" (feat. Tilla)
Little Simz drops a change-of-pace cool-out jawn with the release of her latest single "Quest Luv" -- wait, word?-- off her upcoming debut E.D.G.E. EP. While y'all might be used to the frantic and somewhat chaotic verbal treatment from the young North London native (see : "Bars Simzson" or "Mandarin Oranges Pt. 2") "Quest Luv" finds her biding time with a more somber piano-driven accompaniment over a phazed and slurred drum program, giving young Simz time to affectionately wax about a failed relationship. Its a bit darker than we've become accustomed to feeling after a Simz session, but it certainly shows that the spry rapstress is even more dynamic than we once assumed. Little Simz's E.D.G.E.
