Almost forgot to remember in all the undun madness that reggae icon Jimmy Cliff passed true Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night to sing the hell of a couple reggae classic with The Roots on the back up–including the ultimate stick-it-to-the-man anthem “The Harder They Come” (above–see also the web exclusive “World Upside Down” after the jump). After the taping, Jimmy gave an intimate friends-and-family style show at the brand new Miss Lily’s Variety exhibit space in soho. LargeUp’s intrepid visual team of Martei Korley and Kevin Ornelas were on hand (hell, we were all there–wasn’t going to miss that one!) to document the whole thing. Check their photos here and watch for the exclusive webisode to drop tomorrow. Cliff’s (excellent) new EP Sacred Fire is out now, buy it on Amazon.
