Kwabs Takes A Frigid Stroll In The Video For His Somber New Cut "Perfect Ruin"

Kwabs reemerges from the snowy pack with the video for the cold new cut "Perfect Ruin" off his forthcoming Love + War LP, which will arrive this May. While he may have been quiet over the last six months or so, the UK's at-bat soul-smasher seems to be back in action, traversing the wintry English countryside in a video for his bare and uncompromising new single, led by a heavy piano progression that mounts and mounts until it boils over into a lush, filled-out anthem. And of course, Kwabs' bassy, even gravely croon makes for the perfect accompaniment to a track so soaked in melancholy and unrequited love. This may be our first taste of Kwabena's new piece, but there's plenty to take in post-James Blake cover. If you need the refresher, jump back and get familiar. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy the beautifully shot clip for Kwabs latest single "Perfect Ruin" below and preorder the Love + War LP on iTunes today ahead of its May 18th drop. Keep it locked, we'll be sure to bring you the latest from Kwabs as we creep towards the release of his new project in the weeks and months to come.
