Killer Mike x Frank The Butcher - "Eat What You Kill"
Promising to touch some souls, Killer Mike teases a "harder, darker, angrier" project and talks big features ahead of the highly-anticipated Run The Jewels 3 LP. Mike broke down the nuts and bolts of the creative process in a recent interview with HipHopWired. The latest on the forthcoming release lands as he and co-captain El-P finish up the project, which they hope to release some time before the close of 2016. This go-round they seem to be pulling their inspiration from both cult classics and hallucinogens.
"I’m just smoking weed, eating ‘shrooms, watching Big Trouble In Little China everyday,” laughs Mike. “You know what were doing, were going zany. We’re going dark. I think we have some stuff that will touch your soul."
