Tired perhaps of Accident Racists and posturing over Beyoncé's Cuba policy? Killer Mike and El-P to the rescue with a new song "Banana Clipper." OK, technically 1/2 a new song. Clocking in at 1:24, "Banana Clippers" features El Producto and the Elegant Elephant trading bars like Run and DMC over a beat that sounds like Mantronix sitting on chrome--and ends, fittingly enough, on what appears to be a dubbed out soundbite of LL Cool J exhorting us to "run the jewels" from his song "Cheesy Rat Blues." Run The Jewels is the name of their new group, apparently but also a not-so-subtle way of hinting that #MamaSaidKnockItOff? Either way it's a tuff song. "Banana Clippers," I mean.
