Now that Kelela has confirmed that her long-awaited Hallucinogen EP will be stuck in its incubation oven for a while longer, any new work from the electro-R&B wild card is certainly a hot commodity. And the heat was felt during the latest Know Wave's Gully Type radio hour, which hit the internet airwaves late last month and featured a brand new Kelela track produced by, of all people, dubstep overlord Skrillex and Clams Casino, with additional help from Hak of NYC hip-hop act Ratking.

The fine folks at The Fader picked up on the track, which was dropped in amidst a choppy sea of breakbeat and electro cuts like a soft, shining buoy in the night. Over a beat that gradually saunters from left to right, punched-up by tiny synth horns (we see you, Skrillex) Kelela's signature rasp sounds glorious. The track comes across as a song of longing, with K letting the listener now that she's waiting at home, willing and able. The entire affair recalls the sentiments of her past track "Go All Night," that's for certain. Listen to the full radio show below--the new Kelela x Skrillex x Hak x Clams Casino material begins at roughly the 1:21:00 mark.
