Kali Uchis has been flooding the world with her reverie-inducing take on the r&b cannon with influences that range from classic Motown & Stax to the funky world of Soca. Spanning nine tracks of washed-out soul and left-field r&bism, the EP doesn't merely show how deep her roots run. Instead, what we find is that with a helping hand from some fairly unusual suspects (in this case, the able hands of Tyler, The Creator, Kaytranada, BADBADNOTGOOD and more) you can obscure the soul spectrum altogether and put the whole world on tilt.
