REVIVE Audio: Jesse Fischer & Sly5thAve "Watermelon Man 2013"

In celebration of the 40 year anniversary of Herbie Hancock's game changing album, Head Hunters, the homie Sly5thAve and Jesse Fischer have put together a tribute show, Vein Melter: A Herbie Hancock Tribute Celebratin 40 Years of Head Hunters (presented by REVIVE Music & BKLYN1834). It all goes down at ShapeShifter Lab in Brooklyn on December 2nd (more info here). The night will feature  Jesse Fischer (keys),  Sylvester Onyejiaka a/k/a Sly5thAve (woodwinds),  Irwin Hall (woodwinds) Jay Jennings (trumpet),  David Cutler (bass), Keita Ogawa (percussion) and Jerome Jennings (drums) with special guest trumpeter who played on several Herbie recordings, the legendary Eddie Henderson. In support of the show, Jesse and Sly released this remix to Herbie's classic, "Watermelon Man," check it below (props to REVIVE).
