Watch Jay Rock + Kendrick Lamar Vibe To New Music In The Studio

The world has been blessed with a solid stream of cuts from Jay Rock as of late, including new single "Gumbo," the infectious "Money Trees Deuce." But the question still bears repeating: "When will we hear the damn album?" Jay Rock hasn't released a full length since 2011's Follow Me Home, and many (Okayplayer included) are chomping at the bit for a new offering from the TDE MC.

But at least one new piece of Rock's new LP has surfaced, thanks to a behind-the-scenes studio clip shot by TDE president Anthony Tiffith. In the brief snippet we see none other than Kendrick Lamar getting down to a new track off of Jay Rock's new LP. Deep bass and a tenacious drum track underline the snippet, which is clearly powerful enough to get Lamar moving and should be more than enough to set your own head swiveling. Hopefully the floodgates are about to open and the MC's long-awaited project is quick in its arrival. For now, watch the video of Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar kicking back below and stay tuned for more on the yet-to-be-named LP as more details surface.
