Jared Evan & Statik Selektah Bring The Bizarre With A New Video For "Bass Is Low"

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Jared Evan has returned with yet another Statik Selektah-sanctioned offering, this time debuting the video for "Bass Is Low," off the duo's 2014 LP Still Blue. The track, which features Evan's silky smooth vocals and a bone dry drum track courtesy of Selektah, is a moody rumination on what it means to collide with someone. In the video itself, which debuted earlier this week, we see Jared Evan perusing what's either a post-apocalyptic warehouse or the wildest leather jacket shop on Earth, looking for a lost loved one. With tasty lighting, some weird face paint action, and plenty of shots detailing the temptations of which Evan sings, it's an excellent visual followup to the original Selektah'd joint. If you haven't done so already, cop Jared Evans's Still Blue on iTunes today and stay tuned for more.
