J. Cole debuts "I'm A Fool" Live at Rock The Bells
For the penultimate jam of his set at Rock The Bells (Day 1), J. Cole gave the assembled massive a taste of a new song called "I'm A Fool" rocking the last set of bars acapella before closing out with "Can't Get Enough." Seems like Cole is determined to show his more poetic--and self-critical--side with these recent live debuts, after sticking pretty much to the mainstream playbook with his debut LP. The again, playing both sides of the commercial rap fence and then examining your conscience about it on wax (ok, mp3) is pretty much out of the signed-to-the-roc playbook that Kanye established (remember "All Falls Down?"). Kinda creates some suspense (in my mind) about which J. Cole we'll get on Cole World, the Sequel. Watch below and cast your votes in the comment section.
