With the 25th anniversary re-release of A Tribe Called Quest's iconic debut LP People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm only a week away, J. Cole's official remix of "Can I Kick It?" has arrived. Cole's sonic refurb follows Pharrell's flip of "Bonita Applebum" and, more recently, Cee Lo Green's take on "Footprints" and is the final bonus remix that fans will be hearing before the entire package drops.
The new version of "Can I Kick It?" was originally shared on Hot 97 earlier Tuesday, and has since been posted online. Along with the Pharrell, J. Cole and Cee Lo's remixes, the A Tribe Called Quest re-release will feature fresh remastering work from Bob Power and quite possibly be the best damn sounding tribe album you could ever hope to cop (we're just hypothesizing here).
