Illie
The Sacramento emcee formerly known as Illecism, and then Xuice Hades, now makes his return as Illie. New name, but same hunger and high level lyricism.
He’s just as nice as he was, but you can definitely hear an older and more experienced emcee who’s gone through some things, on his latest release. Illie recently dropped his new EP, Wasted Potential. A strong title, but the music points to quite the opposite of what the title would suggest.
Illie’s 5-track EP has no features with all the production handled by Northern California beatsmith diego/ontheunder. Honest and relatable raps right here (“Entertainment” being my favorite of the bunch).
