It's Ice Cube Vs. Charlie Day In Second 'Fist Fight' Trailer
#TeacherFight is the battle cry in the new Ice Cube flick titled Fist Fight. A loose remake of Three O’Clock High, which starred Casey Siemaszko, Annie Ryan, Richard Tyson, and came out in 1987 — this variation finds Cube in an aged-up role of the bully with Charlie Day (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) as the nerd.
The kicker is that they’re both teachers who have as much dislike for one another as they have for the teachers they teach.
With the last day of the school year looming, these two get into it in a major way with Cube’s character Ron Strickland challenging English teacher Andy Campbell (Day) to an old-fashioned, knock-out, slap-knuckle brouhaha after school. News and hype quickly floods the social media driven campus (hence the #TeacherFight hashtag) and ends up becoming the very thing that the school, and Campbell, needed in their lives.
The second trailer was released overnight and we have it for your elated viewing below.
Fist Fight is set to open in theaters February 17, 2017, and also stars Tracy Morgan, Jillian Bell, Kumail Nanjiani and Christina Hendricks.
