The Cincinnati-born production legend has been on a bit of a roll as of late, following his contribution to the long-lost-but-now-found J Dilla vocal album, The Diary, which arrived just last month after over a decade of delay. Today, however, we're treated to a intimate glimpse into the inner studio workings of one of the best to ever do it, as Hi-Tek hits the MPC  and the ones and twos to cook with gas on the newest episode of Mass Appeal's always-dope Rhythm Roulette series. You know the drill: a blindfolded producer selects three records at random from a local record store, then cooks up a heater from his findings. Hi-Tek, of course, heeds the call and then some, the results of which could stand as the single most impressive sonic specimen to have been concocted on the series.
