Dirty Projectors Dig Into Digital Age Loneliness With New Single/Video "Little Bubble"

"It's been four years, seven months and eleven days — long enough! Three days early, the preorders are in the mail and the album is available in stores. Dirty Projectors is out today"

Three days ahead of schedule, Dirty Projectors has released the highly-anticipated self-titled album. The campaign has already seen a four-piece of singles leading up to its release, "Up In Hudson," "Little Bubble," "Keep Your Name" and "Cool Your Heart," that latter featuring contributions from both Solange and D∆WN. The self-titled record is the first Dirty Projectors release since 2012's Swing Lo Magellan, and the first project with guitarist and vocalist Dave Longstreth alone at the helm.

The early drop arrives today by way of Facebook Live, where Longstreth set a vinyl record of the album to play in its entirety. Hear a stream of the new Dirty Projectors project down below via vinyl-to-video Facebook Live stream, but do so quickly as the stream will surely disappear by day's end. Physical copies are officially on stands today, but you'll have to wait to grab your digital copy in full. Pre-order that via iTunes.
