It's been an awfully eventful 2015 for Grace Jones. It was announced earlier this year that the disco legend and runway maven's life would be the subject of a forthcoming documentary treatment from the BBC and later this summer, she'll be gracing the Afropunk stage with some very posh funk styles. But that's just the tip. Later this year, Jones will be publishing her very first, very appropriately titled memoir I’ll Never Write My Memoirs (based on the opening line from "Art Groupie") but claims, if she didn't, someone else would. And who better to chart her meteoric ascent from Jamaican-born starlet into pop iconography than the lady herself? The memoir is slated for a September 29th release with a box-set of her four-to-the-floor phase The Disco Years already on the market in a 4-LP packaging.
