Goodie Mob Talks Age Against The Machine & More With The Breakfast Club

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Goodie Mob paid a visit to New York's Power 105.1 to discuss breakups, reunions, and their new LP Age Against The Machine with The Breakfast Club. The Dungeon Family institution talked about their beginnings and the conscious decision they made to make meaningful music early on in their career; Gipp cites recording their first LP in Curtis Mayfield's home as a major motivator. They also touch on creative differences with their former label and other impediments that stood in the way of a formal reunion. Fully formed and raring to go, Goodie Mob emphasize their current mission to bring meaning back to the music and provide another plate of that soul food for a new era. Cee-Lo also takes a moment to thank Charlamagne for always keeping it 100. Check the footage below for the full story. Pre-order Goodie Mob's forthcoming LP Age Against The Machine via iTunes.
