GoldLink
Yours Truly’s collaborative series, Songs From Scratch, has really been churning out great music from it’s conception, and today’s release is no different. YT pairs Austalian singer/producer Chet Faker with buzzing VA representative GoldLink. On the surface, this may seem like an off match, but Chet’s production flows well with the ‘future bounce’ sound GL has been making a name for himself with. Give a listen to “On You,” and also get a view of the track’s creation, below. In other GoldLink news, he will be opening up for Flume for a 6 date tour through NY, D.C., and L.A. though I don’t know why I’m even mentioning, since all 6 dates are already sold out (womp, womp). Look for the deluxe edition of GoldLink’s debut, The God Complex, to drop on iTunes on July 22nd.
