The haunted, hollow drum-echoes, broken horns and blurry images of forlorn city streets at night couldn't be more fitting to start of this audiovisual trip through GLC's "Empty Town." Assisted by Cold Hard, The Carps and Blended Babies on production duties, the Windy City-representative lays down a dope all-around product, culled from his recent Cathedral LP. With its stoned groove and dubby feel, this beat could almost be the angry cousin of "Spottieottiedopalicious." Real-life sitcheeations, indeed.
