Ghostface Killah Sounds Off On Bill Cosby, Microchips, Ballet & More

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Ghostface Killah was on deck to charm and chisel away at some of the world's most pertinent issues in the latest installment of Pitchfork's Over/Under series. Namely, GFK touched on the power (or should we say ruse, Pretty Tony?) of the Obama election, how microchips are being implanted in both dogs and humans alike, the fluidity of Ballet (but only for dames) and of course, the pudding pop king, Bill Cosby and his recently unveiled roofy-dealing ways. Oh, and just to be clear: Ghostface is not and has never been a fan of foot massages.

Outside of the Pitchfork realm, Ghost has been as active as ever. He graced The Wu-Tang Clan's latest piece A Better Tomorrow and had a solo concept album drop in the form of 36 Seasons (one of the year's best) where he took on the form of a verbal vigilante in a sweeping narrative of romance and loss. On top of all that, 2015 will also be one to remember from the Shaolin giant with two collaborative albums on the way. The first (and most concrete) being Sour Soul; the unconventional team-up with Toronto jazz-punks BADBADNOTGOOD. The second; a confirmed and long-overdue project with the ever-enigmatic legend MF DOOM. Be sure to keep as we hone in on those, but in the meantime, peep Ghostface Killah's candid sit-down on Over/Under below.
