The hype is beginning for Marvel‘s Black Panther as its stars and feature players are being interviewed about what audiences can expect.
GQ Magazine interviewed Daniel Kaluuya, the breakout star from Jordan Peele‘s Get Out, about his role on Ryan Coogler‘s epic Wakandan adventure. With high praises for all the players participating in Black Panther — it is the comparison to one of HBO‘s greatest series that has us excited for what’s to come.
“This is an African blockbuster, bruv. This is like Game of Thrones. This is crazy. And Ryan Coogler is just, man dem. He’s like us! He’s a normal dude, in a Golden State hat and a Tupac T-shirt directing the whole set. It’s the most beautiful thing to see,” Daniel told GQ about the process
While Kaluuya doesn’t offer any more insight as to how Black Panther is like Game of Thrones, given the concept art that has already hit the web and the film’s unquestionably dope cast and there is no doubt that what the man says is true.
Black Panther will be set after the events of Captain America: Civil War, and take place nearly exclusively in the advanced African nation of Wakanda. The cast is almost built to perfection as Chadwick Boseman stars as T’Challa / Black Panther, Lupita Nyong‘o, Angela Bassett, Forrest Whitaker, Danai Gurira and Michael B. Jordan round out the players in what is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
