New music from Gary Clark, Jr. "Ain't Messin Around" feels like the good news--and it is. Specifically the news that Clark's buzzed-on new album project has a title (Blak And Blu), a cover (see above), a tracklist (after the jump) and a release date: October 22nd, 2012. Here's a few more details: The album was produced by Mike Elizondo, Rob Cavallo and Clark himself and in addition to GCJ on guitar, vox & trumpet, incorporates the work of drummer J.J. Johnson, keyboardist Zac Rae, and Elizondo on bass. I can see why they went with "Ain't Messin Around" as the first leak. Cause young dog clearly ain't. Listen below:
