I'm typically not into posting radio rips, but one glance at this lineup will make it clear why an exception was made. The EPs along the way have been great, but I've been waiting over two years for this Freddie Gibbs x Madlib LP, Piñata, and now I can confidently say it will be dropping on March 18th via Madlib Invazion. We inch closer to hearing the full product with this latest cut "Robes" featuring OF representatives Earl Sweatshirt and Domo Genesis (originally debuting last night on Benji B's BBC Radio 1). You may expect a hard hitting beat with this lineup of flame throwing lyricists, but instead Madlib slows things down and mellows it out for "Robes" and the result could be more perfect - check it below. Check for Piñata on March 18th, and as far as what to expect, Gibbs describes it as: "a gangster Blaxploitation film on wax" - get that popcorn ready.
