Gangsta Gibbs has overcome obstacles and setbacks his entire career to be considered one of the game’s most consistent MCs. After announcing his fourth studio album, You Only Live twice, Freddie Corleone has gone ham-eggs-n-cheese releasing tune after tune. On Saturday, Mar. 25, he unleashed another song from his 10-track album in the form of “Alexys,” which was produced by Kaytranada and BadBadNotGood.

On the cut, Freddie Gibbs shows off his pen game, describing a rags-to-riches journey that ends with “Alexys” putting him in a foreign whip. Eagle-eared audiophiles should be able to place this track as it debuted a while back on Dr. Dre‘s The Pharmacy show on Beats 1 Radio.

So, you know if Dre is a fan of this, then You Only Live 2wice is worth your coins. You pre-order it now or wait until March 31 when it is available in all formats. Listen to “Alexys” below.
