At the top of this summer, director Eddie Alcazar joined forces with the equally eccentric Flying Lotus to craft FUCKKKYOUUU; a subversive and deeply conceptual sci-fi horror short that, according to our very own Sama'an Ashrawi, was a terrifying delight. The film centers on the premise of time travel being a journey inward, following its main character's confrontation of her past self and the imminent terrors that ensue, anchored by shrieks and strings and grizzled guitars in the audible accompaniment, which was provided by FlyLo, Niki Randa and the incomparable Miguel Atwood-Ferguson.

And while us common folk have yet to lay our eyes or ears on the piece outside of its two screenings at Sundance and the aptly titled Fantastic Fest respectively, the short film's first trailer has surfaced, granting us at least the opportunity to hear what sorts of twisted sonic schemes the BRAINFEEDER chief and crew have cooked up for the project. You can watch the haunting new trailer for Eddie Alcazar and Flying Lotus' FUCKKKYOUUU below to get as taste for the score and its startling visuals, just be sure to keep your eyes on us for new screening announcements in the weeks and months ahead.
