Fashion Friday: Get Some Damage Playground for Fall/Winter 13

When fashion meets interpretative moves and a visual art approach, disaster could easily be the result, which makes cross-disciplinary experimentation a timely and costly exercise. Well, it was a risky gamble but the challenge was successfully met in Rotterdam-based label Damage Playground's Fall/Winter 13 lookbook, in terms of creativity, presentation/staging and surprise; how astonished were we when we first discovered  there is a real intelligence involved in the process of showcasing the clothes. Called "Play Me Something," they broke the traditional codes of fashion and we could definitely envision these photographs printed wall size, hanging in an art gallery. They bring movement and personality to the garments, giving shape, graphic design and color .
