A new documentary film titled Harry Benson: Shoot First that chronicles the extraordinary life and career of Scottish photojournalist Henry Benson is now out. Benson, who was contracted with LIFE Magazine for three decades, initially came to the United States to photograph The Beatles in 1964. Since then Benson has captured brilliant photographs of historic moments and historic people. Benson's work has appeared in Time, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, French Vogue, Forbes, Town & Country, Architectural Digest, People, The London Sunday Times Magazine, and many more.

During Bensons' long and prolific career he has captured stunning and often deeply personal images of "Winston Churchill, Bobby Fischer, Muhammad Ali, Greta Garbo, Michael Jackson, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and the Robert F. Kennedy assassination," and many many more. The documentary film was co-directed and co-written by Matthew Miele and Justin Bare. Benson, who is now 86, is still at it. The film is now out in theaters and available to stream on iTunes, Amazon Video, Google Play, and YouTube. Watch a sneak peek of Harry Benson: Shoot First via YouTube below.
