The world may be getting used to Erykah Badu: The Trap&B Star, but let's not forget just how capable the Soulquarian queen is in matters of the organic persuasion. Today, a hefty reminder arrives in the form of her contribution to Robert Glasper's forthcoming Miles Davistributary LP, Everything's Beautiful, riffing alongside the music pioneer on a track called "Maiysha (So Long.)" The track is perhaps the strictest refreaq we've heard her from the album yet (following the Phonte & 9th Wonder-assisted "Violets" and Bilal's "Ghetto Walkin'") embracing the latin flare of Davis mid-seventies original and crafting a delicate bossa-tinged number from those bones. Robert Glasper's Everything's Beautiful LP arrives next Friday, May 27th, with guest spots from Stevie Wonder, Ledisi, John Scofield, Hiatus Kaiyote and more, but you can get your fix down below. Pre-order your copy of the album via iTunes today and get the previously released singles instantly.
