Meow The Jewels Is All Too Real, El-P Previews Snippets
Meow The Jewels AKA the cat-sounds-only remix project that's in the works from those Run The Jewels hooligans Killer Mike and El-Pis real and it's well underway. You can officially put aside the mumbles and rumor-mill banter for the time being as the mighty El-P took to his Instagram account to showoff a few clips from the project, which appears to finally have some legs under it and a furry underbite face to it. While those legs maybe short and stubby, that wide-eyed face belongs to none other than that of viral sensation Lil Bub, who is joining Dan The Automator, Alchemist, Prince Paul, Just Blaze and more on the all-star roster. These snippets of El modulating and sequencing cat meows are a pretty damn hilarious way to cure your Monday jones, so it's certainly worth the 30 seconds.
