Watch Ed Sheeran Cover Ty Dolla $ign, Limp Bizket On The Tonight Show

Pop music's "most cherub-faced troubadour" Ed Sheeran made a strange and special visit to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallonlast night, playing along with a riotous skit dubbed "Ed Sheeran Sings Heavy Metal." And after running through a bizarrely soothing turn on Iron Maiden's "Run to the Hills," the British singer turned to hip-hop, first covering Limp Bizket's "Break Stuff" (an essential angst anthem for any millennial who grew up in the suburbs).

But wait, there's more. Fallon keeps with the classic "late night commercial" vibe and promises that if we "order in the next five minutes" he'll throw in Ed Sheeran Sings Hardcore Rap, an LP that apparently includes Ty Dolla $ign's "Paranoid."

To hear Sheeran gently fingerpick as he sings lines like "It's all about the he-says, she-says bullshit" and "I see two of my bitches in the club" is certainly a weird way to start one's day, but if this parody performance encourages the 24 year-old to delve deeper into rap, honestly we're all for it. Mister Ed already proved to us that he can spit with aplomb at the 2015 Roots Jam, so the question is, when's MC Sheerz's first mixtape going to drop? Watch the hilarious clip below and stay tuned for more.
