East Village Radio Gets New Lease On Life via DASH Radio Network

East Village Radio Is Forced To Shut Its Doors After 11 Years On Air Due To The Rising Costs Of Operation.

Just months after the broadcast outfit was forced to close up shop in May, New York City's East Village Radio gets a new lease on life with news that it will be returning to the world via Dash Radio network's digital platform. East Village Radio will pair with the recently launched network - also home to Odd Future Radio - to resurrect their station, revamp their landmark 1st Ave studio and roll out Brooklyn Radio. The Brooklyn outpost will reportedly launch from digs on Williamsburg's north side at the top of 2015 and serve as EVR's sister station. News of the relaunch is a happy ending for fans of the time-honored radio outfit that can hopefully heal the wound created by a closing that was decidedly bittersweet. Welcome back East Village Radio!
