Earth, Wind & Fire And Chicago Join Forces For A Funky Medley Of Hits On Jimmy Kimmel Live

As of late, Jimmy Kimmel Live has emerged as a hotbed for both fitting and sometimes forced musical collisions. They've graced us with cross-generational link-ups between the lovely ladies of HAIM and Morris Day & The Original 7ven (formerly The Time) Aloe Blacc and Blackstreeand, well, what was probably the oddest of musical pairings in Warren G & Kenny G's performance of the G-funk anthem "Regulate." But today, we're happy to say, Kimmel & Co. have actually come through with a proper collaborative effort in Earth, Wind & Fire's meeting Chicago on stage for a medley of hits that should please all palettes. Commencing with EWH's classic "Sing A Song," the White brothers, Phillip Bailey Sr. & Jr. and what must have been 20-pieces to the band, blazed through their uplifting r&b anthem before handing things over, for just a moment, to the horn-y rock&rollers. After a joint rendition of "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?," the massive ensemble plunged back into the crowd (and OKP) favorite "Shining Star." Get your weekend started with a fresh dose of funk. Peep the legendary musical moment on Jimmy Kimmel Live below.
