EarlGréy Brings In See Francis To Kick Off The New Year With "Venus"
Suffice it to say that 2016 was a pretty good year for singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, EarlGréy. Looking to keep that hot streak alive and burning, TheVAMP collective member brought in See Francis to assist him on the cut, “Venus,” which you can play for yourself below.
Self-produced, written and performed by EarlGréy, the soulful track shows off his vocal prowess, along with his pen game + musicality. Bringing the New Jersey native, See Francis, to add a guest verse shows just why these two are some of the most promising new artists to ever grace the game.
With co-signs from Ne-Yo + MAAD — EarlGréy has his sights firmly focused on the right goal: the spotlight and the top of the charts. “It’s only natural to think about your past, but you can’t stay there forever. For me, ‘Venus’ symbolizes the unknown, and the pursuit of a better world… In life we have no choice but to embrace and get comfortable with our realities; even if that means being alone sometimes. This song helped me get on with my journey and I’m not looking back, I’m aiming for Venus,” Earl said in a press release.
Gearing up to release his debut EP later this year, “Venus” is just the right appetizer to tide one over as we wait for this new generation soul artist to take his rightful place amongst the greats.
