One of our favorite shows on Beats 1 Radio is Pharrell and Scott Vener‘s OTHERtone Radio. So, imagine how excited we were when we heard that Virginia’s own D.R.A.M., Pusha T and Fam-Lay were going to be guests on the show. Yup, you heard the correctly, along with Pharrell, the place best known for lovers shared their feelings about ’90s Virginia Beach, bumping The Low End Theory and seeing a Brooklyn legend at the Pizzazz nightclub.

Elsewhere on the chat, King Push talks about how Pharrell put him on to fashion, saying, “He [Pharrell] was always the risk taker of the bunch. He’d do it, we’d joke him for a good four weeks, then we’d have it on.” Pharrell returned the compliment by explaining just why the former Clipse rapper is one of the nicest rappers in the game. “He uses all those words to make the colors that Lex Luger does beat-wise,” P said. “That’s fascinating to me that, where I come from, there are people walking around with those kind of thoughts every day.”

All the while that conversation is going on, D.R.A.M. sits in admiration to all the Virginia history that sits in front of him.

Don’t waste another minute and check out this clip from the OTHERtone episode, and watch today, Sunday, Apr. 2, at 3:00 p.m. to catch the full episode.
