Drake Announces New Project "More Life" For December Release

Drake debuts Justin Bieber 'One Dance' remix, '4 p.m. in Calabasas'

Drake has consistently used his Beats 1 show OVO Sound to debut new music, and Saturday night saw him use the platform to unleash a pair of tunes.

He pegged Justin Bieber for a remix of "One Dance," his dancehall-tinged single with Whizkid and Kyla. Bieber posted a picture of the Canadian flag to his Twitter on Friday (both artists are from the country - Drake from Toronto, Bieber from London, Ontario), while telling his fans to listen to the show. The song delivers, as Bieber adds new flavor and showcases the smooth, effortless vocals that converted many naysayers on Purpose, his latest album from last November. "One Dance" was already a highlight from Drake's uneven Views, hitting number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and other charts around the world; this remix can ensure the song's continued reign on radio and at parties this summer. Listen below:

Drizzy always uses his "(Time) in (Place)" songs - "4 a.m. in Toronto," "9 a.m. in Dallas," "6 p.m. in New York" etc. - to put his bars on special display, and Saturday's drop is no exception. "4 p.m. in Calabasas" sees Drake rhyming for about three minutes, emulating moments from Puff Daddy & The Family'sNo Way Out while giving shout outs to Kris Jenner and PartyNextDoor. Frank Dukes, Vinyl and Allen Ritter have claimed co-production duties for the beat, which samples The LOX and Biggie's rarity "You'll See."

Joe Budden asserts that the song disses him and Diddy, but said that he doesn't plan to send any shots back. "He snapped just now, even if he dissed me & Puff the whole time….. He ain’t sound that inspired in a minute (to me)," he tweeted. "Ain't no move. Now we all get to enjoy great Drake music."
